It's almost as if there's something you're used to looking at, or being around, or even having around you.While it's clear that the 'Lost Lady' was written primarily in present tense, the rest of the essay topics are written in the present tense, also. That means that as you are reading through the essays, you are looking at them not in the past but in the present.Still, because it is essays, you are always reminded that the essay topics were written in the past.
